Too much sleep, too much risks.

If you are a woman and slept nine hours or more to the night, could have a greater risk of suffering a stroke (LCA), according to a new study.
A preliminary study has examined the relationship between the sleep duration and risk of accident cerebro-vascular, the authors of the new study found an increased risk in people who slept more than eight hours, but not in people who slept less than six.
The new study focused on 93,175 women from 50 to 79 years, who participated in the Woman’s Health Initiative, in which the 8.3 per cent of the women said they slept five hours or less in a night, while the 4.6 percent said they slept at least nine hours per night.
The researchers followed women by an average of 7 and a half years, during which time 1,166 of them suffered an accident cerebro-vascular is chemical, caused by the obstruction of a blood vessel that surrounds the brain. Read the rest of this entry »
