Little exercise for pregnant

A new study in the United States reveals that pregnant women do not carry out the necessary amount of exercise. The researchers at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, found that only 23 percent of pregnant women carried out the amount of exercise recommended by the authorities of the health and groups of private health care.

The state organizations recommended for pregnant women to make at least 30 minutes a day of exercise during pregnancy, or 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise weekly.

The study shows that women who carry out regular exercise during pregnancy are best deliveries; reduce the chances of developing diabetes, hypertension and depression.

The types of exercises recommended for pregnant women are: hiking, swimming, bicycling, and classes of aerobics soft. These activities are recommended including for women who did not exercise before being pregnant. Read the rest of this entry »
